Sequel to the earlier version that has same title with it, the story commenced where the actions of book 1 climaxed. M was unconscious and bleeding to death from gunshot wound as Merrit and Argent frantically battled to save her life. Worse still, they were in the middle of nowhere, far removed from any possible safe haven. A lot was at stake; transporting M alive to the president was the mission but it was about to fail. It was their impressive reputation that made the president to give them such delicate task. However, they’re now on the verge of disappointing him and the consequences were going to be disastrous.
Characters in the book are Merritt, Argent, Mary, President Grant, Mrs. Lambert, Mr. Darnell, and Mr. Hughes among others.
One April after The War has a unique and interesting plot— it’s indeed a thrilling book that would certainly excite readers.
