Even in the company of the sometimes brutal – yet honorable – Furies, Princess Ava stood out as a peerless and principled fighter. A situation that forced her into exile as she was hunted by the other clans of the Dark. To make matters worse for Ava, she had fallen in love with a Knight of the Light. It was a complex situation as the opposing powers would rather kill each other off at the slightest opportunity than ally. To complicate issues further, the Knight she had fallen in love with was responsible for a highly revered Fury’s death, something that the other Furies hated him for. Fortunately for Ava, she is the strongest the Dark has ever produced and was able to intervene on his behalf… if just barely. Kelso is a principled Knight who always fights for what is right. He could be aptly described as the cat with nine lives, having survived many fights and near-death experiences. But how long would he be able to fend off enemies from all sides, as well as deadly attacks from fellow Knights, who considered him a traitor? Nevertheless, the bond between Princess Ava and the Knight is similar to that of Romeo and Juliet—unbreakable! The Dark Witch is a thrilling paranormal story—complete with gritty and detailed battles that leave a trail of blood and gore in their aftermath!
BIO: Being born in Detroit, Michigan but raised in rural Nevada could be whiplash inducing for anyone. I prefer to think of my formative years as a “boot camp” of sorts that prepared me for all of life’s challenges after I moved to California and met my wife. After twenty years with her and four kids, three dogs, one cat, and one fish, I realize I wasn’t prepared half as much as I thought I was.
I write urban fantasy with a touch of humor and a smidge of romance – well, maybe more than a smidge. Firmly believing that evil is evil and good is good, I promptly went out to write a series disproving my beliefs… cause that’s just how I roll. I have three books coming out by the end of the year collectively called “The Ebon Knight Chronicles”, along with several short stories in the same universe. I was interested in writing a series that explores the vast grey landscapes that exist between the shining white Paladins on one hand (boring) and the darkly maniacal Wizards on the other (lame). If you think everyone has a little heaven and hell in them, then take a chance on the Ebon Knight Chronicles!
My favorite authors are Stephen King, Dean Koontz, Jim Butcher, Jonathan Maberry, and John Conroe. If you liked any of their books, they influenced mine.
