The Ebon Night

In the age of knights and furies, Princess Ava was a hunted exile. She was a fugitive from the Dark. Although she was a sorcerer, she used her mind reading ability and superpower to eliminate evil ones. Going after pedophiles, rapists, and murderers were the sort of adventures she enjoyed the most. Not minding if her victims belonged to the Dark or Light. However, when her paths crossed with the Ebon Knight, what should have been a mortal combat heralded a new beginning.

Unfortunately for Kelso and Ava, any form of relationship between knights and furies would be impossible to sustain. The Knights of Light and the Furies of Dark had polar opposite ideologies. And thus were in a perpetual battle for supremacy.

To further complicate matters for Ava, her sister, Jesslyn, was out to eliminate her over old grudges.

If that wasn’t enough motivation to do away with Princess Ava, seeing her with Kelso clears all doubt.

Nobody will stand in Jesslyn’s way of connecting with the man of her dreams—not even a fugitive blood sister…

The combination of sorcery with 21st century plot makes the story even more intriguing.

BIO: Being born in Detroit, Michigan but raised in rural Nevada could be whiplash inducing for anyone. I prefer to think of my formative years as a “boot camp” of sorts that prepared me for all of life’s challenges after I moved to California and met my wife. After twenty years with her and four kids, three dogs, one cat, and one fish, I realize I wasn’t prepared half as much as I thought I was.

I write urban fantasy with a touch of humor and a smidge of romance – well, maybe more than a smidge. Firmly believing that evil is evil and good is good, I promptly went out to write a series disproving my beliefs… cause that’s just how I roll. I have three books coming out by the end of the year collectively called “The Ebon Knight Chronicles”, along with several short stories in the same universe. I was interested in writing a series that explores the vast grey landscapes that exist between the shining white Paladins on one hand (boring) and the darkly maniacal Wizards on the other (lame). If you think everyone has a little heaven and hell in them, then take a chance on the Ebon Knight Chronicles!

My favorite authors are Stephen King, Dean Koontz, Jim Butcher, Jonathan Maberry, and John Conroe. If you liked any of their books, they influenced mine.
