The Murder of Tobias Wheat

Tobias Wheat and Chaff Lundergan were good friends who had each other’s back. They had met when they were only fourtheen, during their freshmen period back in school. Chaff had saved Tobias from bullies. He was physically strong and literally grew in the streets, no thanks to his parents failed marriage. It wasn’t a surprise he ended up enmeshed with the bad guys. But Tobias was a PR man. A law abiding citizen who suddenly found himself caught in the middle between the FBI and a criminal gang.

Little did they know that Detective Jack Harrigan had gone rogue. He was working with an African syndicate that specialized in stolen diamonds. While under protective custody in his hospital bed.Tobias received devastating news that his wife has been kidnapped and would be killed at any moment. Pulling off every piece of tube attached to him on the bed, he had to make a brave escape as he went after the gang. With the help of Chaff, who everyone thought was already dead, Tobias can only hope to save his lovely wife. It was a race against time as they frantically chased after the culprits. All the way from the United States to Toronto, Canada—with the FBI in hot pursuit.

This book is an entertaining thriller that feels very much like watching a fast-paced Hollywood blockbuster.
