Dateline 2029 and a lot has changed in the world. Mallory Rosenbaum had dreams of being a dancer on the Broadway, and was determined to achieve her goals. However, her parents felt she was better off becoming a great nanotechnologist, considering her genius abilities in STEM. To find a middle ground, she decided to go on the Michigan Tech Tour. Unfortunately, it turned out to be the beginning of an unending nightmare.
Nobody could tell if the tour was all a ruse from the onset or a planned hijack, but they now faced an unexpected threat. They would have to participate in the mortal game called Vermilion. Each person must fight their way through obstacles so they can earn enough antidote for survival.
On the other side is Snake Riley and the Rebel Demons, a group of evil bikers who were above the law. The group were not just a menace to the society but habitually leaves trail of death and destruction in their paths.
Would Mallory survive against all odds?
One in Vermillion may live is an intriguing Sci-Fi set in the future. The author successfully merged a gripping story with a thrilling game, albeit a deadly one.
